We celebrated our 10 year anniversary with a fabulous weekend of dance and music with workshops by Lebanese Simon, Eva Cernik, Artemis Mourat, June Seaney, Laman Hendricks, Emily Jarrett-Hughes, and Amina West; Grand Bazaar Shopping With Local Vendors; “Meet the Masters” Open House with ‘The Shape of a Hundred Hips’ book readings by author Patricia Cumbie, music provided by StellaRoma, and Gala Show “Cultural Crossroads”!
This activity was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Our inaugural festival with dance workshops taught by Reyhan Tuzsuz, Serkan Tutar, and Artemis Mourat; Grand Bazaar shopping with local vendors; music by On The Road to Uskudar and Rags McKay; and Anatolian Origins – Music and Dance Across the Ottoman Empire Gala Show.
